Asda has joined forces with Deliveroo to make its groceries available for fast home delivery via the app.
The supermarket giant has rolled out the new delivery service across 15 of its stores so far, with Manchester, Leeds and Wakefield among the first cities taking part. But products will soon be available for delivery by Deliveroo riders across the UK, with plans to launch the service at 300 stores nationwide by the end of the year.
Shoppers will be able to choose from more than 2,400 products from the supermarket to have them quickly delivered to their door. Asda can already be found on UberEats, and some stores will have both delivery options available, reports Retail Gazette .

Deliveroo's director of grocery for UK and Ireland Georgie Williams said of the partnership: “Asda offers great value for money and we’re delighted that Deliveroo customers can shop from a huge range of products, bringing even more choice to families and households across the UK.”
Asda senior vice president of ecommerce Simon Gregg added: “We want to create more opportunities to conveniently shop favourite Asda products and offer the broadest range of delivery options of any grocer, giving customers the flexibility to choose how and when they shop with us. Our partnership with Deliveroo will extend this further, as Asda customers across the UK will soon be able to get products delivered in as little as 30 minutes.”
