An ASDA employee has been flooded with praise for saving a shopper's life by humming a popular 80s song for 23 minutes straight.

Gayle, who works at the Rossington store, saved shopper Nigel's life when he had a cardiac arrest and stopped breathing.

Thanks to the ASDA employee's quick thinking and CPR knowledge, she was able to keep Nigel alive by using the beat of the Beegees' song 'Staying Alive' for 23 minutes.
