An Asda delivery driver came to the rescue of a stranded hen party returning from a night out in Liverpool.
Rob Stirk, 59, had just started his shift as a home shopping driver for Asda's Skelmersdale store when he noticed a group of women 'sprawled' on a grass verge at the side of a road.
However, he was shocked that two hours after first spotting the women, they were still at the side of the road, despite it being one of the hottest days of the year. Stopping his van, Rob approached the group with bottles of cold water.
