An Asda delivery driver has been labelled a 'star' after his act of kindness towards a 90-year-old woman he found sitting in the dark.
Michael, who works for the Hartlepool branch, was delivering groceries to a customer when he noticed something odd. The woman, 90, was sat in her home in complete darkness.
She explained to Michael that her lightbulbs had gone out, but due to her mobility issues she couldn't change them. Fortunately, Michael was on hand and offered to replace them.

His kindness was praised by social media users. Moe said: "Michael you are a star and will be rewarded for what you have done God bless you keep up the good work."
