ASDA has issued an apology after it launched a range of matching £8 Jubilee dresses. The supermarket says the dresses have been so popular, they sold out in 'record time' - they were aimed at mums, aunties, sisters, grandmas and daughters.
The dresses have sparked anger with some people, and ASDA has now been forced to issue an apology. ASDA released a set of twin dresses for parents and children to wear over the Jubilee weekend.
The George at Asda dresses feature a floral Union Flag print and come in a midi length for adults and a matching children’s dress in ages 12 months to 14 years. But they clearly proved popular ahead of the long bank holiday weekend, with shoppers complaining on Instagram about them being sold out online already, M.E.N reports.
