A mum made a grim discovery while cooking food for her two-year-old son.
Caitlyn Lawton was making her son Austin fish fingers from the supermarket's Just Essentials range when she found fish eggs inside the item. The mum said it was "disgusting", though Asda has explained "there is always a small risk of roe making its way into the final product".
Caitlyn, who noticed the problem just before she served up the meal to her boy, said: "I had cooked the fish fingers and my partner got the tray out, cut them up and put them on the window sill to cool down.
