Asda 90p air fryer 'fakeaway' snack has shoppers 'drooling'

If you get the munchies in an evening and don't fancy splashing out on a takeaway, Asda shoppers think they have found the answer. A 90p snack is, according to fans, better than chips - and at less that a pound, better for their pockets too.

The shoppers have praised a simple own-brand frozen product that can be cooked in an air-fryer in minutes. Part of Asda's Just Essentials range, the item is called Potato Pops. For those unfamiliar with the product, the supermarket describes them as "seasoned potato balls" which have been "pre-fried and frozen".

Similar to mini hash browns or US favourite tater tots, a 500g bag costs 90p, according to the Asda website. They are listed as free from artificial colours and flavours.
