After calling San Francisco home for the last six years, Jimmy Garoppolo is finally leaving the Bay Area. Per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the veteran quarterback will reunite with Josh McDaniels on the Las Vegas Raiders.
But while this is probably a bittersweet moment for Garoppolo to move onto the next stage of his career, it might just be sweet for artist Rita Carvalho (@RitaOak on Twitter). You might best know Carvalho for her work illustrating Garoppolo in a new, hilarious situation every single day he remained a 49er. She’s been doing it for over 400 days (!), to be precise.
With Garoppolo joining the Raiders, Carvalho shared her final glorious work of the QB … on the 404th day. (Though, he wasn’t traded.)
That’s what we call commitment.

A bunch of quotes complimenting Garoppolo as Andy Dufresne after he escapes from the prison in The Shawshank Redemption? It’s absolutely perfect and well-earned for all the artistic effort from a year-plus.
