Photographer Boris Eldagsen speaks to Eve Jackson about starting a huge debate about the future of photography. The German artist won a prestigious award with an image he made using artificial intelligence. He entered the photograph into the creative open category at the Sony world photography awards and won. He is refusing the prize. Boris Eldagsen told Encore that he entered to make the world realise we need to think about what AI means for photography.
