Arthur Fery makes Wimbledon history as British wildcard seals quarter-final spot with epic win

  • British wildcard Arthur Fery achieved a stunning five-set comeback victory over Grigor Dimitrov, advancing to the Wimbledon quarter-finals .
  • Fery, aged 23, secured the win with a final score of 7-5, 3-6, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (10-7) in a match lasting three hours and 55 minutes on Centre Court.
  • This remarkable achievement makes Fery the first wildcard to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals since Nick Kyrgios in 2014, and only the sixth British man in the Open Era to do so.
