Bollywood actor and politician Govinda made headlines on Tuesday when news broke that he accidentally shot himself in the leg with his personal revolver. According to Mumbai Police, the licensed firearm accidentally discharged as the actor was placing it back in his cupboard, resulting in the injury.
Several celebrities, including filmmaker David Dhawan and veteran actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, visited Govinda in the hospital to check on his condition. Stars like Arbaaz Khan and Arshad Warsi also expressed their concern and wished Govinda a speedy recovery during the trailer launch of their film 'Bandaa Singh Chaudhary'. Arshad commented, "It’s very unfortunate. We all feel very bad about what happened."
