All that was missing from a meeting between Arsenal's past and someone fans hope to be Arsenal's future was a bit of current Gunners action.
The former Arsenal manager met with one of his greatest ever players, and now Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira and a Premier League star was also present.
Michael Olise, who has been linked with the Gunners previously after a stellar first season in the Premier League, was with the two Frenchmen and received a small but valuable piece of advice from Wenger. Vieira signed Olise last summer from Queens Park Rangers after the 20-year-old scored seven times and assisted 12 as a teenager in the Championship.

He hasn't got off to the same sort of flying start this season, currently without a goal and with two assists in 10 matches, but he did catch the eye of FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development. In a video that surfaced online, Wenger can be heard saying to Olise, "Faut marquer plus de buts." That translates to "need to score more goals."
The versatile attacker only registered two league strikes last season despite his impressive dribbling and creativity, and taking his game to the next level with goals could enhance the interest that Arsenal have already shown. Football.london understands that a bid of £35m could acquire the services of the France under-21 international.
With Mikel Arteta still looking for an extra winger and attacking threat after scanning the market all summer for reinforcements, if Olise can add goals to his game, then Vieira may well be doing an extra helping hand for the future of Arsenal if interest resurfaces.
Vieira can also be heard saying "Saturday..." and tailing off towards the end of the video. With Palace facing Southampton tomorrow (October 28th), maybe Olise can use the advice from Wenger and take it onto the pitch. The Frenchman had a brilliant record with players from his home country during his time in north London, seeing Thierry Henry, Nicholas Anelka and Manuel Petit all flourish with the Gunners during his successful reign at the club.
Wenger has previously commented on how he got the best out of Henry at Arsenal, "I said to him, 'I don't care, just play there. I don't want you especially to score goals, just play well." Olise has played well for Palace and is less of a striker than Henry, but his advice could prove to be as decisive if the 20-year-old can add goals to his game and become a true Premier League threat.
Palace striker Odsonne Edouard was also present with the Arsenal legends and Olise.
