  • Noni Madueke and stand-in captain Mikel Merino also found the net as Mikel Arteta's rotated side established a four-goal lead.
  • Ipswich rallied late with consolation goals from Anis Mehmeti and former Arsenal academy graduate Chuba Akpom.
  • Dowman became only the second 16-year-old to score a brace for a Premier League side since Wayne Rooney achieved the feat in 2002.
