Charlie Patino received a warm welcome from Blackpool fans as he made his debut for the Championship club on Saturday afternoon.
The Arsenal midfielder, 18, joined Blackpool on a season-long loan deal earlier this month. He is viewed as one of the Gunners' best young players and represents England at Under-19 level. He scored on his senior debut for Arsenal against Sunderland last December.
Patino got his first taste of Championship football on Saturday afternoon when he was brought on in the 70th minute of Blackpool's 2-0 away defeat to Stoke. Despite losing the game, the Tangerines faithful were still in fine voice at the end of the game.
A large group of Blackpool fans were filmed singing Patino's name on the concourse at Stoke. The new chant is inspired by Blackpool's hatred of local rivals Preston and goes to the tune of Michael Jackson's 1995 hit song 'You Are Not Alone'.
The song goes as follows: "He's Charlie Patino, he knew the place to go, although he'd never seen, the boys in Tangerine, he felt it everywhere, he breathed the sea air, and then he said to me, I f****** hate PNE [Preston North End]."
It's understandable why Blackpool supporters have warmed to their new midfielder. Speaking after the match, Tangerines manager Michael Appleton praised Patino's performance and claimed he "enjoyed" watching him strut his stuff in the Championship.

"He takes yards off people sometimes with his ability to get away from people," said Appleton. "I thought he was great. I thought he showed a calmness. He showed an old head on very, very young shoulders and I enjoyed watching him. I think the Blackpool fans over the coming season are going to enjoy watching him."
Many Arsenal supporters are hoping Patinio's loan spell at Blackpool will help him become a top player at the Emirates. Speaking after the youngster's senior debut last December, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta told the press he wouldn't rush Patino into the first team.
"A beautiful moment," said Arteta while describing Patino's goal. "He is a kid that is coming through our system, a lovely kid. He is training with us almost every week. It was a dream. As a debut to come here, to score in front of our fans, a really special moment.
"I think that is very positive [the Arsenal fans were singing his name]. They heard about him and know what he can become and now we have to cook him slowly.
"Today was a good start, I think. [Too much hype around him] is what we have to avoid. He still has a lot of competition in front of him. He is really young. And he needs to go step by step. Today he was lucky, he got the opportunity and he took it really well."
Arsenal currently have 11 players out on loan - including defender Nuno Tavares, striker Folarin Balogun and goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo. More players are expected to leave the Emirates before the transfer window closes on September 1.
