Train drivers at 12 rail companies are due to strike on two days at the start of October, one of those being October 1 - the date of the first North London Derby of the season. Chelsea are also set to travel to Crystal Palace later in the day.
As per Inews.co.uk, the strikes will take place on October 1st and 5th as part of the ongoing dispute over pay. Major rail strikes initially planned for the 15th, and 17th of September were cancelled following the death of Queen Elizabeth II as a mark of respect.
Brighton and Crystal Palace were due to play tomorrow (September 17), but the game was initially postponed as a result of the previously planned strikes.
