Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Preview, Prediction, Team News and Confirmed Lineups

Arsenal face Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup and you can find our preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups below.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Preview

The Gunners made their way into the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup after a comfortable 3-0 win away from home against Preston back in October.

Gabriel Jesus, Ethan Nwaneri and Kai Havertz were on target at Deepdale and secured Arsenal’s second win of the tournament – putting five past Bolton in the previous round.

Mikel Arteta’s side are on an interesting run at the moment, remaining unbeaten from their last eight matches across all competitions – but drawing their last two Premier League matches.

Arsenal were held to a 0-0 draw by Everton in their latest league clash and the Gunners have failed to score a goal from open play in their last three Premier League matches.

As for Crystal Palace, results have started to turn around after failing to win from the opening eight Premier League fixtures – remaining undefeated from their last five.

The Eagles have beaten Norwich, QPR and most recently, Aston Villa, to earn a place in the quarter final but are heavy underdogs for this clash on UK betting sites.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Team News

Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu will miss the match for Arsenal as they remain sidelined with a pair of knee injuries.

Neto cannot play due to being cup-tied so Raya should keep his place in goal, while Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori are unlikely to feature.

Kieran Tierney makes his first appearance for Arsenal since August 2023 and Arteta has opted for teenager Ethan Nwaneri in midfield.

Crystal Palace have welcomed the return of Joel Ward to the bench after a late fitness tests but Chadi Riad and Matheus Franca are unavailable.

Two former Arsenal players return to the Emirates, as Eddie Nketiah and Matt Tuner will start the match as a substitute.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Confirmed Lineups

Arsenal: Raya; Partey, Timber, Kiwior, Tierney; Nwaneri, Jorginho, Merino; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli

Crystal Palace: Henderson; Guehi, Chalobah, Lacroix; Kporha, Hughes, Lerma, Mitchell; Sarr, Eze; Mateta

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Prediction

Despite the likelihood of a rotated side for Arsenal, we expect the Gunners to have enough quality on the pitch and earn a place in the semi finals.
