Victor Gyokeres has responded to reports that Arsenal are weighing up offering him to Atletico Madrid in a swap deal involving Julian Alvarez.
The Atletico forward is a long-time target for Arsenal, and has become a key figure in the summer transfer market having been the subject of rejected bids from both Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Real Madrid failed with a bid worth €150million (£130m) for Alvarez earlier this month, after Barcelona caught Atleti's wrath for what they deemed an inappropriate transfer pursuit.
Atleti insist that the only way Alvarez leaves is if his €500m (£431m) release clause is triggered, amid reports the Gunners were cooking up ideas to bring that figure down.
Arsenal's interest dates back over a year, with Mikel Arteta reportedly weighing up making a move for the World Cup winner last summer before plumping for Gyokeres.
Gyokeres has now been asked about speculation linking him away from Arsenal.
Speaking before Sweden’s World Cup last-32 clash with France, Gyokeres played down speculation over his future.
“Of course it’s flattering to see that clubs are interested but I feel extremely comfortable at Arsenal,” he said.
“After the season we have had, I only have positive feelings.”
Asked how he handles transfer rumours during the tournament, Gyokeres said: “Nothing. I’m here, have a fairly important match, and that is the main focus.”
