Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is sweating on the fitness of Thomas Partey after the midfielder pulled out of international duty early. Oleksandr Zinchenko should be OK to feature, along with other previous doubts Martin Odegaard, Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Mo Elneny, Cedric Soares and Emile Smith Rowe are out, while Reiss Nelson is working his way back to full fitness.

Arteta's opposite number Antonio Conte was at pains to keep his squad fitness under wraps at his pre-match press conference but Dejan Kulusevski looks set to miss the game alongside Wales defender Ben Davies, with Hugo Lloris also a doubt.
