Arsenal will play Manchester United in New York as part of their 2023/24 season preparations, the club have confirmed. The friendly will take place at MetLife Stadium on Saturday July 22 and is the Gunners' second confirmed fixture in the United States.
Mikel Arteta's men will take on a selected team of players from the MLS at D.C. United's Audi Field three days earlier. It is the second consecutive year that the north London outfit have made the trip across the pond after facing Everton, Orlando City and Chelsea in the space of a week.
A statement on the club website read: "As part of our pre-season preparations for 2023/24, our men's first-team will play against Manchester United in New York this summer.

"We’ll be lining up against the Red Devils in a high-profile pre-season match at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, July 22, marking the first time the two clubs have played each other on American soil.
"The match will be another important moment in our build-up to next season, and will be our second match during our pre-season trip to the United States."
Supporters will be able to purchase tickets from the start of next month. An exclusive pre-sale tickets starts on Tuesday May 2 before they are available on general sale two days later on Thursday May 4.
