Arsenal endured an agonising end to the 2021-22 campaign as they finished fifth in the Premier League - two points behind bitter rivals Tottenham.
Mikel Arteta's side will be determined to break into the top four next season after missing out on Champions League football, yet it's clear they need to add depth to their ranks if they're to achieve this. As such, expect some new faces to arrive at the Emirates this summer.
But who are Arsenal interested in? Here, Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumours from the Emirates - including updates on two midfield targets and one of the Gunners' own prized assets.
Wolves name Neves price
Wolves have slapped a £70million price tag on Ruben Neves, according to The Telegraph.
Arsenal are reportedly interested in buying the midfielder, 25. Neves has two years left on his existing deal but is expected to leave Wolves this summer after five years at Molineux. Barcelona and Manchester United are also thought to be keen on signing him.
It's believed Wolves will accept an offer between £40m and £50m for the Portugal international, despite their demands. "Everyone knows about what football is about, what our lives are about," Neves told reporters when asked about his future in May.
"Our careers are really short, we need to take the opportunities we have. Of course, all of us have dreams and we need to live those dreams in a short space of time. Let’s see what happens. I cannot say too much about it."
Tielemans makes admission
Who should Arsenal sign this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
Youri Tielemans has admitted he could leave Leicester this summer.
The Belgium international, 25, is believed to be a transfer target for the Gunners. Tielemans has impressed at Leicester, making 158 appearances and winning the FA Cup - scoring a stunning goal in a 1-0 final win against Chelsea in May 2021 - and the Community Shield.
The midfielder has just one year left on his existing deal and accepts he could leave Leicester this summer. "That is not out of the question," Tielemans told reporters when asked. "I feel very good at Leicester, I was welcomed with open arms from day one.
"I give everything for the club until the last day. But of course you have to listen to other opportunities, you have to look at your career, and sometimes you have to make choices. Maybe one will come my way."
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are confident of getting a deal over the line. Yet that could be problematic, as it's believed Tielemans would prefer to play for a Champions League club. Tottenham are able to offer him that - not the Gunners.
City deny Saka interest
Manchester City have told Mirror Football they are not plotting to make a bid for Bukayo Saka after rumours suggesting otherwise emerged on Tuesday morning.
The Arsenal winger, 20, has two years left on his deal and has attracted interest from Liverpool after a stunning start to his professional career. Saka has already won the FA Cup and Community Shield, and he helped England reach the final of Euro 2020 last summer.
The Gunners would like to tie him down to a new long-term deal. Saka was named the club's Player of the Season in 2020-21 and scored 12 goals in all competitions in 2021-22. He is viewed as a key part of Arsenal's future alongside fellow youngsters Emile Smith Rowe, Aaron Ramsdale, Benjamin White, Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah.
