Arsenal made it three wins from three against Bournemouth over the weekend to go top of the Premier League table, yet despite five new signings and a perfect start to the 2022-23 campaign, the club are still planning on bringing in one or two more additions.
It has been well documented that Arsenal are interested in signing Wolves winger Pedro Neto this month but it has now been revealed that he has had a huge £50million price tag slapped on his head by the Molineux outfit and has also been offered to Manchester United. Elsewhere, Arsenal are said to have ‘alternatives’ to Youri Tielemans.

Wolves land double Neto blow
Mikel Arteta remains intent on signing another player this summer who can play across the front three as he looks for further depth to his side - and has identified Wolves star Neto to be the one to fill the gap.
But now Arsenal’s Premier League rivals have made a huge dent in their chances of signing the Portuguese international this month by slapping a huge £50million price tag on the 22-year-old, who they are in no rush to sell despite recently signing Goncalo Guedes from Valencia.
That’s according to talkSPORT, who also report that Wolves have already offered Neto to Erik ten Hag’s Man United this summer, leaving the Gunners at risk of losing out on one of their top transfer targets to the Red Devils for a second time in the current transfer window.

Gunners have ‘alternatives’ to Tielemans
Arsenal have shown interest in signing Leicester City’s Tielamans since May but are yet to get a deal over the line for the Belgian midfielder after prioritising getting other deals over the line at the start of the transfer window.
According to journalist Abdellah Boulmaare, via Sacha Tavolieri, Arsenal are ready to make a second bid next week for Tielemans, although it is also mentioned that the Gunners have already identified ‘alternatives’ to the 25-year-old in Brighton & Hove Albion’s Moises Caicedo and AC Milan’s Sandro Tonali.
Caicedo is wanted by a number of top clubs in the Premier League, but is not deemed for sale this summer by the Seagulls, although the Gunners may have a better chance in securing a deal for Tonali, who recorded five goals and three assists in Serie A last season.
Leicester in for surprise Pepe swoop
One of the reasons that Arteta is keen on landing Neto this summer is because of his lack of faith in Arsenal flop Nicolas Pepe, who is free to leave the Gunners this summer. However, because of his high wage demands, there has been a struggle in offloading him so far.
The Ivorian has been strongly linked with a move back to Ligue 1 with Nice, although negotiations continue to stall, but there could now be a new lifeline for both Arsenal and Pepe after it was reported that Leicester are considering a surprise swoop for the winger.
That’s according to Media Foot Marseille, who report that the Foxes are interested in signing the £72m man. Brendan Rodgers has been very quiet in the current transfer window but could now move for Pepe to bolster his options, while a move could also be used by the Gunners as leverage in securing a deal for Tielemans.
