Arsenal have little time to prepare for their next Premier League fixture as they aim to maintain their five point lead at the top of the table.
And although Mikel Arteta may be working hard with his players on the pitch, director of football Edu is working harder off it as the Gunners pursue a deal for Mykhaylo Mudryk. More worryingly for Arsenal, however, is that one of their current stars is being eyed by a European giant, while a rumoured transfer target has made a huge admission over his next potential destination.

Odegaard’s Real return
Arsenal could be at risk of losing captain Martin Odegaard following reports that his early season form has caught the eye of Real Madrid.
The Norwegian only signed a permanent deal with the Gunners in the summer of 2021 and has been influential this season in helping them mount an unlikely title charge. However, Los Blancos are now flirting with the idea of returning for their former player in the near future.
According to Marca, Los Blancos have first refusal on Odegaard after inserting the clause into his contract when he joined Arsenal. The report also states that hope to exercise this clause should he wish to return to Spain.

Mac Allister wants Juventus move
Brighton midfielder and World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister is ‘set on a move’ to Juventus amid links to the likes of Arsenal ahead of the January transfer window.
The Argentinian has impressed in the Premier League this season and went on to further make a name for himself in Qatar as he helped his country claim the World Cup title. As a result of his performances, the Gunners have been put on red alert ahead of next month.
But according to Gazetta dello Sport, the 24-year-old midfielder is said to be ‘fascinated’ by the possibility of playing for Juventus, although any move is dependent on whether USA international Weston McKennie leaves before the end of January.
Gunners still keen on Danilo
Arsenal are still monitoring Palmeiras midfielder Danilo despite reports suggesting that the Gunners had ended their interest in the Brazilian.
Earlier this month, The Athletic claimed that Arsenal had dropped their interest in the 21-year-old ahead of the January transfer window, although transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has now insisted that Danilo remains on Arteta’s shortlist.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, Romano stated that although “nothing is advanced” in Arsenal’s pursuit of the Palmeiras midfielder, he still remains “on the list”. However, whether the Gunners will make their move next month is yet to be seen.
