Arsenal enjoyed a brilliant transfer window a year ago, as they brought in the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Will the Gunners be just as productive this time around? Mikel Arteta hasn't used the club's chequebook so far this summer, but there's still plenty of time. Arsenal fans are keen for their manager to bring in some fresh talent after coming up just short last season.
Arteta's side finished second in the Premier League after falling short to Manchester City in the title race. The Gunners sat at the top of the table for several weeks but just didn't have enough quality or depth to get over the finish line.
But who is Arteta after? Here are the latest transfer rumours from the Emirates.
Rice's new option
Manchester United are considering making an offer for Arsenal's No.1 transfer target Declan Rice, according to The Telegraph.
West Ham captain Rice, 24, is allowed to complete a summer transfer if the price is right. Arsenal have submitted two bids for the England international, with their last offer worth £90million (£75m up front). Yet the Hammers are sticking to their £100m valuation.

Arsenal's failure to agree a transfer fee has allowed Man Utd to sneak in. The Red Devils are considering a player-plus-cash offer for Rice, which could include Harry Maguire or Scott McTominay. It's unclear how much cash is involved in the bid.
Havertz deal edges closer
Arsenal have agreed a £65m fee with Chelsea for Germany international Kai Havertz, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
It's claimed the Gunners will pay £60m up front for Havertz, who will sign a long-term contract and complete a medical later this week. The 24-year-old cost Chelsea £71m three years ago but has failed to live up to his billing in the Premier League.
Despite scoring the winner in the 2021 Champions League final, Havertz has scored just 19 goals in 91 Premier League games. Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter all struggled to get the best out of the former Bayer Leverkusen star at Stamford Bridge.
If Arsenal finalise a deal for Havertz, Arteta must decide whether to play him as a centre-forward, winger or attacking midfielder.
Timber wants Arsenal move
Ajax defender Jurrien Timber is only interested in a move to Arsenal, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
It's believed Arsenal have already submitted an offer of €35m (£30.1m) for the 22-year-old, but Ajax are holding out for €60m (£51.6m). There's a belief the two clubs will reach an agreement. The Gunners are hoping to tie him down to a five-year contract.
Bayern Munich are also interested in the defender, but he is concerned about his lack of minutes in Bavaria. Previous Ajax stars Noussair Mazraoui, Ryan Gravenberch and Daley Blind have struggled for minutes at the Allianz Arena.
