Arsenal enjoyed an impressive Premier League campaign last term despite the heart-break of not lifting the title.
The Gunners finished second for the first time since 2016, whilst they also managed to guarantee themselves a place in the Champions League. Ahead of their return to Europe’s top table, Mikel Arteta is aiming to add a host of new faces to his squad.
Meanwhile, an array of the Gunners’ current stars continue to be linked with moves away from the Emirates Stadium. Take a look at all of the rumours coming out of the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours:
Arsenal reach Timber agreement
Ajax star Jurrien Timber looks set to become Arsenal's first addition of the summer transfer window after they reached an agreement on personal terms. That is according to Sky in Germany, who suggests that the Dutchman wants the switch to North London and is on the verge of sealing his move.
Whilst contract terms have been agreed, work still needs to be done before the Gunners can rubber-stamp a deal. They have yet to agree a fee with Timber’s current club Ajax.
It is said that a fee of between €40-45m (£34.9-£38.6m) plus bonuses would be enough to seal the defender’s signature ahead of Manchester United.
Juve suggest Thomas Partey swap
One player who could be on the way out of the Emirates Stadium is midfielder Thomas Partey. The former Atletico Madrid star has been backed for an exit this summer with just two years left on his deal.
One side interested in signing the Ghanaian could be Italian giants Juventus. They have an idea that they hope will help them sign Partey.
According to TuttoJuve, the Serie A giants are ready to offer Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo in part-exchange. He spent last season on loan in the Premier League with Liverpool but endured a disastrous time of things.
Injury limited him to just one outing for the Reds’ first team - that coming in a 13-minute cameo in a 4-1 defeat against Napoli back in September.

Arteta opens up on Havertz deal
Arteta has spoken of his admiration for Chelsea's Kai Havertz as Arsenal close in on a £65million deal for the forward.
Speaking to Spanish outlet Marca, the Gunners boss said: "Talent comes at a price, and at Arsenal we are always interested in youngsters with experience.
"I repeat, I'm not talking about players from other clubs, but in the case of Kai, he has already shown a lot, including in the Champions League. He is a talented player, versatile and only 24 years old."
