Arsenal have changed their tune on a number of players ahead of the January transfer window as plans begin to take shape in north London.

One Brazilian is off the cards, while another could be the target of a Gunners hijack. Mirror Football takes a look at all the latest transfer stories coming out of Emirates Stadium…
Gunners ditch Danilo
Arsenal are looking to sign a new midfielder as a back-up for Thomas Partey ahead of the second half of the Premier League season.
The Gunners had been linked with highly-rated Palmerias youngster Danilo back in the summer and that interest re-emerged ahead of January. The Gunners were tipped as favourites to sign the 21-year-old next month, according to IG Esporte, as the perfect understudy to Partey for the remainder of the season.
However, The Athletic have reported that Danilo is no longer a priority signing for Arsenal, with the Gunners changing their tune on transfer plans as a result of having other priorities in mind.

Arsenal linked with Wolves hijack
Arsenal could look to hijack Matheus Cunha’s potential move to Wolves in January in order to sign the Brazilian as a replacement for Jesus.
The £45million summer signing from Manchester City has been ruled out for three months and the Gunners see his comrade as ideal cover, although it has recently been reported that Wolves are leading the race for the Atletico Madrid man.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has admitted that while the Molineux outfit are still in discussions with Atletico for Cunha, interest from other Premier League clubs is stalling a move - with Arsenal being confirmed as one of those sides by The Athletic.
Arsenal join Felix pursuit
While Arsenal are linked with Cunha, it has also been revealed that the Gunners have joined the race to sign his teammate, Joao Felix.
The Portuguese international has long been expected to depart the La Liga giants next year after failing to nail down a starting spot under Diego Simeone, with agent Jorge Mendes working hard to find him his next club in the January transfer window.
The latest report from AS states that Arsenal have joined as a third party in the transfer saga alongside Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, and that they have entered ‘with strength’ as they aim to bolster their ranks in the New Year.
