Arsenal fans may have been fearing the worst in regards to their January transfer window when their pursuit of Mykhaylo Mudryk was hijacked by rivals Chelsea.
However, Mikel Arteta ensured that there was a plan B waiting in the wings in the form of Leandro Trossard, who has since penned a long-term contract at the Emirates after falling out with Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi. Due to how quickly Arsenal got the deal sorted, the Belgium international could now feature in Sunday's showdown with Manchester United at the Emirates.
Some of the Gunners faithful may have assumed the arrival of Trossard spelled the end of Arsenal's transfer dealings this month, but Arteta has already struck once more since and there could be even more down the line.
