Arsenal already have a few targets in mind when it comes to the January transfer window.
The Gunners have been linked with a vast array of players ahead of the window itself opening and will likely be opening negotiations with a few targets over the coming weeks. In the meantime, a few of the current squad could potentially look to move on sooner rather than later either on loan or on a permanent basis.
With that being said, here are all the latest transfer news and rumours coming out of the Emirates Stadium with the countdown on until the January transfer window.
Barcelona hand Arsenal Endrick boost
Arsenal have seen their hopes of signing Brazilian wonderkid Endrick given a huge boost with Spanish giants Barcelona seemingly taking a step back from talks.
The Catalan giants were linked with a move for the Palmeiras star - along with a clutch of Europe’s biggest clubs - with boss Xavi even hosting talks with the forward and giving him a tour of the Spanish side’s facilities.
However, according to Marca, Barcelona are not willing to invest heavily in a player that won’t be able to play for the club until at least 2024. That could potentially open the door for Arsenal or any other interested party.

Arsenal ‘unsure’ on Tielemans
Whilst Barcelona appear to be edging close to a decision over their move - or lack thereof - for Endrick, the same cannot be said of Arsenal’s long-running pursuit of Leicester star Youri Tielemans.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Belgian for some time with his contract at the King Power Stadium set to expire this coming summer. However, according to the CBS via Give Me Sport, the North Londoners are not fully convinced on a swoop.
They are yet to turn their initial interest into a formal offer to either Leicester or Tielemans himself with the second thoughts revolving around the fact that he is too different to current first-choice midfielder Thomas Partey.
Arsenal backed to make Marmoush move
Arsenal could potentially be set to make a move for Wolfsburg winger Omar Marmoush in January with the Bundesliga side being pushed to a sale.
The Egyptian's contract at the VW Arena expires in the summer with talks over fresh terms having stalled. It remains to be seen if they are reignited but according to Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung, Wolfsburg have already made the decision to sell.
Arsenal are interested in a deal, alongside Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest.
