Arsenal may be about to miss out on the Premier League ’s top four at their own expense but it can't be ignored that there has been significant improvement on last season, in which they possess the youngest team in the top flight.
Nonetheless, Mikel Arteta is on the lookout for reinforcements this summer, although he may have to shift some players out first. Nicolas Pepe is said to be looking for another club after hiring a new agent, while the Gunners are in negotiations with Juventus over a swap deal for defender Gabriel.

Pepe hires new agent amid exit claims
Arsenal winger Pepe has endured an underwhelming three seasons in north London and as a result, he now ‘wants to leave’ the Gunners this summer and has even hired a new agent to help him find another club.
That’s according to football.london , who report that the Ivory Coast international is not happy at the Emirates Stadium having fallen down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta’s team, despite becoming the club’s record signing when he joined from Lille in 2019 for £72 million.
It is now believed that Pepe could leave for almost a third of that price at £25m, having started just five Premier League games this season and contributed just one goal and one assist during his 19 domestic outings.

Gunners to welcome back Spanish defender
Mikel Arteta has endured some defensive woes this season and in particular in recent weeks, following a mixture of poor form and injuries, but as confirmed by Real Betis president Angel Haro, via Goal , Hector Bellerin is set to return to the Gunners this summer.
Bellerin has spent this season out on loan at the La Liga outfit, where he has recorded five assists in 32 appearances in all competitions, but now he is set to return to the Emirates ahead of next season, despite the club already having Cedric Soares and Takehiro Tomiyasu in his right-back position.
However, Arteta is set to include Bellerin in next season’s plans. He said: “Any player with a contractual obligation with us, both ways, is our player and is considered our player. Every plan considers that possibility [that Bellerin could stay] exists and how they can fit into our team."
