Paqueta fee as Magpies look to swoop in
With Arsenal continuing to show a keen interest in Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta, fellow Premier League side Newcastle United are also said to be keeping tabs on the Brazilian international, as the summer window begins to creep ever closer.
Valued at fee of just short of £60million, the 24-year-old could provide a key missing piece to Arteta's midfield, with the future of fellow Ligue 1 star Matteo Guendouzi also yet to be decided.
With his current deal not expiring until June 2025, it is no surprise Les Gones are looking to re-coop some key transfer budget if they do decide to part ways later this year.
Brazilian youngster Danilo targeted
With Italian outfits reporting Arsenal have entered the race to sign Palmeiras midfielder Danilo, the 20-year-old youngster could perhaps be the next big thing to land at the feet of technical director Edu.
As per information relayed by SportWitness, the player is set to cost between £20-30m, with the likes of Juventus, Lazio, Milan and Benfica all set to rival the Gunners later this year.
