The summer transfer window has officially opened and it's already been a busy day for Arsenal with the club announcing the seven players across their various squads who have not been retained for next season.
This list includes Alexandre Lacazette following confirmation last week that he is to leave when his contract expires on June 30 and he will be joined in the Emirates Stadium departure lounge by youngsters Jonathan Dinzeyi and Joel Lopez as well as Women's first-team players Lisa Evans, Tobin Heath and Viktoria Schnaderbeck.
Another youngster who will be released at the end of the month is Jordan McEneff, who has spent most of 2022 on loan with Shelbourne, and football.london understands the 21-year-old is close to sealing a permanent transfer to the League of Ireland Premier Division.

Furthermore, football.london can reveal that academy goalkeeper Remy Mitchell is in advanced talks with Championship side Swansea City over a free transfer. The teenager made 19 appearances across all competitions last season, keeping six clean sheets and finished off the campaign with a penalty save in the 5-0 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby.
However, with Tom Smith recently signing a new deal coupled with Karl Hein, Ovie Ejeheri, Hubert Graczyk and James Hillson all still at the club, a pathway to first-team football could be clearer at Swansea for Mitchell than it is at Arsenal right now.
One player who confirmed his exit shortly after the final Premier League game of last season was Luigi Gaspar, who just happens to be the son of Arsenal technical director Edu. The young midfielder has already taken to social media to pen an emotional farewell after three years at the club.
"Thank you @arsenal, it's never easy to say goodbye, a club I've watched and admired since the first day of my life, my life started here, I was born a North London Boy… I wanted to thank everyone who was with me in these last 3 seasons I spent here, there were beautiful moments but also not-so-easy moments, sometimes things in football don't work out the way we imagined, but that's where you get thick skin to prepare you for any situation," he wrote on Instagram.
"I cried, laughed, made friends and built a family here... Eternally grateful for this club that opened the doors for me here in Europe. I arrived here as a boy, leaving Brazil afraid to face new challenges, and I leave today as a man ready for whatever is to come! My decision to leave was not an easy choice, but as I said in football, sometimes things don't go the way we want, I feel that now is a time to face new challenges, to go to a new home.
"I leave here this letter in thanks to all the players, coaches and staff of the club! Thank you for everything you've done for me these years! Thanks again @arsenal."
Interest in Luigi Gaspar is high as football.london understands he has multiple offers from clubs in England and it is his preference to stay in the country.
