Arsenal told they should try to sign Harry Kane despite unlikely Tottenham transfer scenario

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has claimed that he would love to see Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane join Mikel Arteta's side.

Kane was part of the Gunners youth academy during his formative years before eventually being released at the age of nine. Since then, he has gone on to become Spurs' all-time leading scorer - surpassing Jimmy Greaves' record earlier this month. The England captain has also tormented Arsenal in a number of North London Derbies, netting 14 times against them in just 17 fixtures.

Now, Frimpong has admitted that the lethal finisher would be the perfect addition at the Emirates Stadium during a recent interview with Midnite. When asked what should Arsenal do if they had the unlikely opportunity to sign Kane, he said: "Should Arsenal sign Harry Kane? Why not? My interest is for Arsenal to win trophies and improve.
