Arsenal have approached the summer transfer window differently compared to last season with four incomings confirmed before the start of pre-season which was not the case before the start of the previous campaign.
The Gunners have signed Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Jesus and Matt Turner in the opening month of the window. And it is clear that Arsenal’s business has not finished there as the north London side continues to pursue other players.
Here, football.london details three of the biggest transfer rumours regarding the north London club from the last 24 hours.

Grimaldo bid
According to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, Arsenal have submitted a €7million (£5.9million) bid for the Spanish full-back Alex Grimaldo. The north London side had also been linked to Grimaldo in the past.
Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo had previously reported that Arsenal were interested in signing Grimaldo. But, this interest was registered when Unai Emery was still the Gunners' boss.
A deal could certainly be on the cards as this news came before reports from Portuguese news outlet Record that Benfica need to save €40m (£34m) in wages ahead of the next season, meaning they could offload their best players, which includes Grimaldo.
Paqueta update
One player that had been strongly linked to the club in the recent week was Lucas Paqueta from Lyon. The Brazilian is looking to leave the French side, and Arsenal were quoted as being one of the midfielder’s potential destinations.
However, recent reported developments about a potential move to Arsenal have been squashed. This could suggest that the Gunners have decided to reignite their interest in Tielemans or are looking elsewhere for another transfer.
It seems the Gunners will be avoiding a transfer as British journalist Freddie Paxton reported that he spoke to the agent of Paqueta, Eduardo Huram who claimed that Arsenal have not made any official offers to sign the Brazilian.
N’Golo Kante negotiations
Arsenal have been linked with a surprise move for Chelsea star Kante this summer. This comes after the club’s pursuit of Youri Tielemans has reportedly stalled.
The Gunners could be set to take advantage of Kante’s current contract situation instead. As he has just one year left on his contract, Chelsea may be tempted to sell if they can get a reasonable fee. football.london understands that talks are yet to begin over a new deal for the midfielder, and now the Daily Star reports that Arsenal are considering a move for him as Mikel Arteta looks to reinforce his squad.
However, a transfer for the Frenchman has been denied by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who has claimed that there has been no negotiations between the Gunners, and Chelsea over a potential deal for Kante
Walker-Peters interest
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Southampton full-back Kyle Walker-Peters according to the Athletic's David Ornstein. The former Spurs academy graduate joined the Saints from his boyhood club two years ago and has been impressing in the Premier League ever since.
The report goes on to claim that Spurs have a £30million buy-back clause in the agreement which saw Walker-Peters initially leave the club. However, Arsenal and Manchester United are understood to have the defender on their list of possible targets.
