Arsenal continued their preparation for the domestic season's restart with a friendly against Lyon in the Dubai Super Cup on Thursday.
The Gunners lost 4-2 to training ground neighbours Watford in a behind-closed-doors friendly at London Colney at the weekend, but they bounced back from that result in style.
Goals from Gabriel Magalhaes, Eddie Nketiah and a stunning finish from Fabio Vieira saw Arsenal ease to a 3-0 win at the Al-Maktoum Stadium.

As part of the Dubai tournament, Arsenal also played for an additional bonus-point in a penalty shootout after the game. Despite missing three spot-kicks, they secured that extra point by winning the shootout 2-1. Karl Hein was the hero as he saved four of Lyon's five attempts from 12 yards.
Plenty of stars impressed on the day, but supporters will be gladdened to know that Arteta also rolled back the years on the Gunners' touchline.
Following a clearance from Lyon's goalkeeper, the ball found itself travelling towards Arteta at a fairly high speed. Nevertheless, the Spaniard showed that he's still got a decent first touch as he used the outside of his right foot to cushion the ball back under control.
Whilst Arteta will obviously be proud of the fact he's still got it, he'll be more concerned about Arsenal's fitness ahead of their Boxing Day return against West Ham United. AC Milan are next up in the Dubai Super Cup before the Gunners host Juventus in a one-off friendly at the Emirates Stadium on December 17.
Three games against top opposition should be enough for the league leaders, who will want to keep their impressive form going by securing three points against the Hammers.
