The January transfer window could be a season-defining month for Arsenal, who are hoping to win their first Premier League title in 19 years.
Mikel Arteta's side currently sit five points clear of second-placed Manchester City but injuries to Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Jesus mean the Spaniard's attack is in need of some reinforcements during the winter window. One name that has been mooted as a potential target is Atletico Madrid frontman Joao Felix.
Now, the Telegraph have reported that Arsenal are stepping up their pursuit of Felix, who is available to sign on loan this month. Atletico are said to be demanding a hefty loan fee for the Portuguese international and it is claimed that the size of this fee will determine whether or not Felix joins Arteta and Co.
