William Saliba's agent Djibri Niang has taken to social media to post a video at Arsenal's London Colney training ground.
The French international has already signed his new contract with Mikel Arteta's side, football.london understands. But supporters are still waiting on an official announcement from the club.
Now, Niang has posted a video inside the Gunners' training ground on Instagram as fans wait for the club to announce Saliba's new deal. The 22-year-old enjoyed a stellar 2022/23 campaign, establishing himself as one of the Premier League's most consistent defenders before sustaining a back injury that kept him out of the final two months of the season.
His new contract is a four-year deal, with the option to extend by a further 12 months. Arsenal boss Arteta has consistently made no secret of his admiration for the player, hailing the talented youngster's ability to answer any doubts regarding his ability.
“The first question was how the player is going to reintegrate into our dynamic after being out for so long,” said the Spaniard when asked about Saliba back in March. “Is there some frustration there, something personal between, for example, between me and the player because he could not understand that?

“Or his environment, his expectations coming back or the amount that we paid for him, his age, is it the same to do it in France as it is to do it in this League for Arsenal because you don’t have 21-year-old defenders at the top level in England?
“There were a lot of question marks and he went with all of them, ticking them off and giving us every reason to be confident that he was a great player for us.”
