Arsenal are on course for another record attendance when they host Wolfsburg at Emirates Stadium in the second leg of their Women’s Champions League semi-final.
The Gunners have already sold 20,000 tickets for the game on May 1, despite it being a month away.
For their quarter-final second leg win over Bayern Munich last week, which they won 2-0, Arsenal sold 21,307 tickets.
That was a record attendance for a women’s European game hosted by the club and the expectation is it will be broken against Wolfsburg.
The first leg of their Champions League semi-final will take place in Germany on April 23.
Arsenal are flying high under Jonas Eidevall this season and, as well as the Champions League, they are in contention to win the Women’s Super League.
The Gunners are currently sat third in the table, but they are just three points off leaders Manchester United and have a game in hand.
