Arsenal have been sent a major warning over Bukayo Saka's contract following the Europa League win against Bodo/Glimt.
Saka continues to draw serious interest from Manchester City and Liverpool with the 21-year-old still yet to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners remain confident an agreement can be reached with the player who has recently dropped a hint as to where his future lies as he enters the final 18 months of his current deal.
Saka has been influential in Arsenal's impressive season so far having registered four goals and four assists in 12 appearances across all competitions, after scoring the winner against Bodo/Glimt in the 1-0 Europa League victory last night. The Gunners are in a strong position to negotiate a new deal for the 21-year-old at present due to being top of the Premier League table and their strong position in their Europa League group, with talks ongoing as Arsenal prioritise tying Saka down to a bumper new long-term contract.

Former Chelsea star Joe Cole has lauded Saka as a 'gem' and urged the Gunners to get a new contract agreed with the England international. Speaking after the 1-0 win against Bodo/Glimt, Cole told BT Sport: "You have to understand how young he is, where he is in his career.
"Arsenal have got such a gem here. He’s already so experienced, he’s one of the leaders on the team on the pitch, he takes responsibility."
Saka scored twice in the 3-2 win against Liverpool last weekend to help the Gunners reclaim top spot in the Premier League from reigning champions Manchester City, following it up with a crucial goal to beat Bodo/Glimt last night.
Cole continued: "He’s a fantastic player and he’s one that Arsenal have got to tie down and build this new regime, this new great side that seems to be emerging (around him).
"The beauty with him is you can use him there on the left of a front three, you can use him as a number 10, a left wing back, on the right wing. But he’s just a fantastic footballer and he’s getting his education through Arteta and fantastic players.
"Young players around him have all got his energy and they’ve kept it going tonight. It’s important momentum at this stage of the season."
