It has been five years since Arsenal last played in the Champions League but this season there is real hope that the club can qualify for the continent’s top competition.
With Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea clear at the top of the Premier League table, there is only one UCL qualification spot left and there are no less than five teams who could realistically take it, namely Arsenal, West Ham United, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur.
After embarking on their worst start to a season in 67 years, the Gunners have finally found into their groove under Mikel Arteta, and they are now hotly tipped to finish in the top four for the first time since 2016.
