Arsenal are in talks to sign Brighton & Hove Albion forward Leandro Trossard, but he may not be the only arrival at the Emirates Stadium this month.
football.london understands the Gunners are closing in on a deal for the Belgian after agreeing an initial £21million fee plus add-ons with Brighton. Personal terms are not expected to be a problem and have already been finalised, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Trossard has just six months remaining on his current deal at the Amex, making him a feasible option in the remaining days of the January window. The player’s camp has also made it clear that a Brighton departure would be the best solution for all parties after the 28-year-old fell out with manager Roberto Di Zerbi.
