Arsenal continued their upward trajectory with a huge win over Leeds United at Elland Road, but it wasn't an easy game for Mikel Arteta's men to traverse. After a lengthy stoppage due to a power cut, Bukayo Saka opened the scoring when he rifled a shot into the roof of the net from a tight angle on the right.
The home side were causing plenty of problems though and appeared to get an equaliser when Patrick Bamford scored, though that was later ruled out for a foul. The striker was then involved again as a penalty was given away by William Saliba for handball, though the subsequent spot kick was put wide.
The England international was hopeful of a second chance that appeared to come as he was caught by Gabriel in stoppage time, with the referee giving a red card to the Arsenal defender and a penalty. Another VAR check overruled the decision, however, seeing the Gunners hang on for another vital three points.
