Although there's little doubt that Oleksandr Zinchenko is a brilliant addition to the Arsenal team, two injury setbacks in the space of a few weeks have understandably caused concern amongst supporters.
The Ukrainian Football Association confirmed that Zinchenko is set to be unavailable for around two weeks after picking up a calf injury in Arsenal training. It follows the 25-year-old sitting out matches against Aston Villa and Fulham earlier this season due to a sprained knee.
It means that Zinchenko will miss Sunday's trip to Brentford and Ukraine's upcoming Nations League fixtures. As much as it is a frustration and perhaps down to a bit of bad luck, Zinchenko's injury record tells us that he has been and maybe always will be more prone to injury niggles.
