Arsenal's first January signing trains with first team as Mikel Arteta makes defender decision

Arsenal Mikel Arteta Gunners Lino Sousa West Brom

Arsenal youngster Lino Sousa trained with the first team on Wednesday as manager Mikel Arteta runs the rule over the defender.

The 17-year-old joined the Gunners from West Brom in January and has already made two appearances for Arsenal's Under-18's side.

Sousa, who is of Brazilian heritage, played two years above his age group for West Brom Under-18's last season and has been earmarked as a potential star of the future by those within London Colney.
