Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka posts five-word message ahead of Europa League clash amid injury concern

Arsenal fans were understandably fearing the worst after Bukayo Saka was substituted due to injury in the first half of their win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday. However, after the early diagnosis was positive, Gunners fans can rest calmly after he was spotted in Arsenal training on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old has featured in all 17 of Arsenal's matches so far this season notching five goals and five assists as Mikel Arteta's side have shot to the top of their Europa League group and the Premier League table.

Questions have arisen more recently surrounding the Arsenal squad with fatigue possibly setting in after lacklustre performances against Leeds, Southampton and PSV, but those claims were put to bed over the weekend after a rampant display at Emirates Stadium.

However, there is still some concern about the depth of the Gunners squad with many players, which has included Saka, needing to pull double duty and play in both Premier League and Europa League fixtures.

While of course still being only 21, and likely to have a quicker recovery time than other players, Saka has been needed almost every three days with the Gunners facing two matches a week for the last month and it looked as though that had caught up with the Hale End graduate when he could no longer continue at the weekend.

Understandably, there was likely a lot of concern among the fanbase about who could possibly match the output of Saka if his injury was deemed serious, but up stepped Reiss Nelson, who despite having only featured in three Europa League games this season, scored twice in the space of three minutes and grabbed an assist in the 5-0 win.

Nelson's brief but equally impressive cameo has undoubtedly put him in the thoughts of Arteta for Arsenal's four remaining fixtures before the World Cup break and he would've likely been a straight swap for Saka in Thursday's clash with Zurich.

But it's possible Saka good even feature on Thursday as he took part in Arsenal training on Tuesday and has since posted a five-word message to his Twitter account:
