Arsenal remaining fixtures compared to Man City as Premier League title race continues

Arsenal may have lost ground on Manchester City in the Premier League title race in recent weeks, but their hopes remain alive heading into the final three games of the season.

Mikel Arteta's men are only one point behind the holders after Sunday's 2-0 win over Newcastle United. The Gunners will have to rely on results elsewhere if they are to win their first league title in 19 years, with City having a game in hand.

When asked about the importance of the title race and recent wins, Arteta said: "That we are there, that we want to keep digging. The prize is there, not too far. The only thing we can do is keep insisting and not turn our backs and lose focus on something else. Be determined every single day. Let’s keep going and see what happens."

Fortunately for Arsenal, they are faced with no distractions, unlike Man City, who remain in the Champions League and FA Cup. The ball is very much in City's court but, as we've seen already this season, Pep Guardiola's side are not perfect and can drop unlikely points.

Ahead of this weekend's round of fixtures, football.london takes a look at Arsenal's remaining fixtures of the season compared to Man City's.
