Mikel Arteta could be preparing for a busy summer transfer window at Arsenal as the Spaniard is given the chance to bolster his current squad ahead of next season. While the Gunners impressed in the previous campaign, they were unable to complete a charge for the top four.
It means they will have to settle for a return to the Europa League, adding extra fixtures to their schedule that weren’t a problem before. That said, Arteta will likely be relishing a return to continental football after a spell without it.
The challenge next season will be to go one further and confirm a place in the Champions League, all while being competitive in cup competitions. Plenty of exciting players have been linked with a move and with that in mind, football.london takes a look at the latest news and transfer rumours.
