Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez has peaked the interest of several Premier League clubs in recent transfer windows and the same outcome could be set for the summer. Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham have been three English sides considering a move and the Argetine's latest comments will have certainly put those two clubs on high alert.
The 25-year-old has faced criticism in recent years with many claiming he cannot finish, however his stats for this season at the Italian giants prove otherwise. From 34 games played Martinez has scored 16 goals, with 13 coming in Serie A.
However, his impressive tally and Inter's steady league form is being vastly overshadowed by Napoli and Victor Osimhen. Luciano Spalletti's men are undoubtedly the favourites to win the Scudetto as they sit 18 points clear at the top of Serie A with their talisman on 21 goals for the season.

The Nigeria international is also currently the striker in Italy at the centre of significant transfer talk, with Chelsea and Manchester United eyeing a summer move. However, Martinez could be the forward heading to the Premier League soon judging by a new report and his own comments.
In an interview with GiveMeSport, journalist Phil Brown said: “Arsenal have been interested in Lautaro for a long time. Whether they've actually ever made a firm bid, I'm not sure. But certainly, there's been talk of one, and I think he's a player they would be willing to pay quite a lot of money for.”
The Times revealed last summer that the Nerazzurri had placed a £70million price tag on Martinez after strong interest from both north London clubs.
A shock 1-0 defeat by Bologna over the weekend meant Inter were unable to open a gap between themselves and the chasing pack in search of a Champions League spot. Following the result, Martinez, who played the full 90 minutes, was clearly not pleased and dropped a subtle hint he may be seeking a departure.
"It would be wrong to talk too much in the heat of the moment, but the sensation I have right now is that we’ll get nowhere playing like this," he told Sky Sport Italia, via the Mirror.
"We need to be more consistent, we just played a great game in the Champions League [against Porto], we arrive here fired up and then put in this performance. We’ve got to get our heads up and push forward, because we’ll get nowhere like this. We are 18 points behind Napoli, so clearly something is not working."
The Gunners signed Gabriel Jesus in the summer, but if the opportunity arises to bring Martinez - who will see his contract at San Siro expire in 2026 - to north London in the summer, it may be too good to turn down.
