Arsenal player ratings vs Wolves as Xhaka gets special send off, Saka shines and Trossard good

Aaron Ramsdale: Hardly anything to do on the day. He had already earned the party atmosphere that greeted him with his displays this season. 6.

Thomas Partey: Looked better in the right-back position this time, although he was helped by how little Wolves came forward. Unlucky to see his goal ruled out. 7.

Ben White: Looked far more comfortable back in the centre back position, but again helped by Wolves lack of offensive threat. A classic Ben White foul Partey's disallowed goal that will probably only endear him to Arsenal fans more. 6.

Gabriel: Defended well throughout. Looked as assured as he has done in a while at the back. Switched on when he might have been forgiven for taking it easy. 7.

Jakub Kiwior: A far more assured performance at left back. Against didn't get forward too much but was helped by the fact that Trossard held his position better. Coped well with Trarore's pace. A first Arsenal goal was the highlight of his day. 7.

Jorginho: A lovely ball through to Trossard in the build up to the third goal. Coped well at the base of the midfield and did a good job of unpicking the tightly locked Wolves defence. 7.

Granit Xhaka: Couldn't have asked for a much better sign off to his Arsenal career. Two goals that epitomised how he's earned his way back into the hearts of Arsenal fans. Many will be sad to see him go. 9.

Martin Odegaard: Some lovely tricks and flicks as he embraced the party mode at the Emirates. Couldn't break the goals from midfield record but it's still been a sublime season for the Norwegian. 7.

Bukayo Saka: The most involved he's been for Arsenal in a long while and it's no coincidence that the Gunners attack looked better for it. A well-taken goal to cap off a brilliant week in which he committed his future to the club. 8.

Gabriel Jesus: A nicely taken goal, an assist for Xhaka's first - some great end product from the Brazilian on the day. Got better in the second half after a quieter first period. 8.

Leandro Trossard: Held his position much better this time than he did last time out against Forest. A lovely assist for Jesus' goal to make it four. 7.

SUBSTITUTES -

Reiss Nelson: Looks set to follow Bukayo Saka in committing his future to Arsenal in the coming days. With the composure he's showing in the final third these days, that's great news for Arsenal. 7.

Emile Smith Rowe: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.

Fabio Vieira: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.

Kieran Tierney: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.

Eddie Nketiah: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
