Aaron Ramsdale: His poor record of saving penalties continues but Ramsdale was good aside from that. Nice and proactive with his distribution and a couple of decent saves when called upon. 7.
Ben White: Some nice moments of quality in the final third when he did get forward but that wasn't all too often. Defended well. Wouldn't have known Benrahma was on the pitch if not for the penalty, showing how good a job White did on him. 7.
William Saliba: Panicked for the penalty after losing track of the ball and being outsmarted by Antonio. We'll put it down to rustiness though, as he recovered to have a decent match. 6.

Gabriel: Steady at the back. The fact that Antonio chose to peel onto Saliba probably shows the fear factor around Gabriel right now. Good in possession too on occasions. 7.
Kieran Tierney: A solid display from the Scot who looked as though he was walking wounded at times in the second half. Sacrificed his usual game to invert and did so ably. 7.
Thomas Partey: Kept it simple at the base of the Arsenal midfield. Was the main avenue down which the traffic of Arsenal's build up flowed and was steady as ever on the ball. 7.
Granit Xhaka: Stood up to West Ham's attempts to bully Arsenal in his role as dad of this Gunners side. A few nice moments on the edge of the box with the kind of attacking influence we've become accustomed too from the Swiss international. 7.
Martin Odegaard: Two assists from the sublime Norwegian. Looked on it from the start and set the tempo for Arsenal's excellent performance. 9.
Bukayo Saka: A cool finish when played through one-vs-one to level the scores. Was a constant thorn in Aaron Cresswell's side and showed superb strength to outmuscle Declan Rice in the build up to Martinelli's goal. 8.
Eddie Nketiah: A proper centre-forward's goal from the man who looks set to start as Arsenal's focal point for the next few months. Many doubted him, but this was a positive performance all round that shows he can soften the blow of Jesus' absence. 8.
Gabriel Martinelli: A relentlessly excellent performance from the Brazilian on his return from the World Cup. Kicked to pieces but refused to stop running at his man. Deserved his smartly taken goal. 9.
Substitutes -
Oleksandr Zinchenko: Did well to ensure Arsenal maintained their focus after coming on when the game was won. Looks quite the leader in this squad. 7.
Fabio Vieira: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
Mohamed Elneny: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
