Aaron Ramsdale: One superb save to keep out Marcus Rashford was quickly followed by a spill that led to Martinez's equaliser. Mixed day in front of the watching Gareth Southgate. 6.
Ben White: Struggled up against the pace of the electric Marcus Rashford in the first half and couldn't contribute to the attack in the way he would have liked. Hooked at half time. A rare off day this season 5.
William Saliba: Helped play the offside trap on occasions and was decent in the physical battle with Weghorst. Tried to help deal with Rashford but the England forward was irresistible so hard to say Saliba excelled there. 6.

Gabriel: Good in the air and refused to give United an inch when it came to the physical battle. The Brazilian again looked good in front of the watching gaze of his future competitor Jakob Kiwior. 7.
Oleksandr Zinchenko: Pushed back a little by Antony and couldn't impact the game in possession as he would have liked. Delivery not quite as good as usual but still managed some moments of real quality on the ball. 6.
Thomas Partey: Gave the ball away in the build-up to Marcus Rashford's goal and lost the duel to add insult to injury. Recovered to have a decent game in possession though. 6.
Granit Xhaka: A superb cross for Eddie Nketiah's goal reminded us of the impact the Swiss midfielder can have offensively. Defensively disciplined. A solid game. 7.
Martin Odegaard: Make no mistake in this symphony of a season for Arsenal Martin Odegaard is the conductor. Led the players on the pitch and the fans the stadium with a relentless attitude. Moments of real quality on the ball too. 8.
Bukayo Saka: The kind of display in a big game that announces himself as not just one of the best young players, but the best players in the Premier League. Has added the shooting from distance to his game and was unlucky not to score twice from it. 9.
Eddie Nketiah: An excellent display again from the Arsenal forward who is really grabbing his chance up top. Pressed relentlessly, linked up well and had a goal to boot. Missed a big chance but the best strikers don't let that affect them and his poaching finish proved to be the winner. 8.
Gabriel Martinelli: Arsenal did look to get the ball to him relatively often, but his impact was limited. A quiet day for the Brazilian who was poor with his set piece delivery. 6.
SUBSTITUTES -
Takehiro Tomiyasu: Usually a top one-vs-one defender but struggled to get to grips with Marcus Rashford. Collided into Ramsdale for the Martinez goal too. 5.
Leandro Trossard: Great dribbling in the build up to the winning goal. Some quick feet to help Arsenal keep it up the pitch late on. A solid debut. 7.
Rob Holding: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
