Karl Hein: Had just as little to do in the second half as he did in the first. One nice moment of sweeping was probably his highlight in the match. 6.
Cedric: Again not that much influence on the game, but this was more down to how the team stopped attacking as much rather than anything he did wrong in particular. 6.
Rob Holding: Defensively solid again when called upon. Marshalled the backline well and ensured teammates were in their correct positions. 7.

Gabriel: Little to do in the second half before coming off. Arsenal didn't get forward as much so not much attacking threat either. 6.
Kieran Tierney: A slight worry when he appeared to pull up injured but no issues by the looks of things. Some nice moments going forward. 7.
Mohamed Elneny: Steady as he was in the first half. A good runout for the Egyptian who has a big role to play in the second part of the season. 6.
Albert Sambi Lokonga: Decent in possession, but with limited time, not as influential as the first half. 6.
Martin Odegaard: Was unlucky not to be given a goal after Marquinhos chose not to square for him to pass into an empty net. Didn't look like he'd had a break at all across his time on the pitch. 7.
Marquinhos: Brought on at half time and looked bright for the most part. Hit the bar after a fantastic save from Lopes. Slightly poor decision making in the final third on occasion though when he should have passed to Odegaard. 7.
Eddie Nketiah: Drifted wide a little more in a style similar to that of Gabriel Jesus. Did an effective job before coming off on the hour mark. 7.
Reiss Nelson: Again struggled a little to get into the game. May be a little disappointed given the strength of the general attacking display. 6.
SUBSTITUTES -
Lino Sousa: Came on to play a hybrid left centre back/left back role in a formational switch. To play such a complex tactical style in any team is tough, but at 17 it's so impressive. Really steady debut. 8.
Taylor Foran: Rewarded for his impressive displays in the Under-21s with some minutes here. Looked pretty strong at the centre of the Arsenal defence. One moment of overplaying did put the Arsenal backline in some trouble, though. 6.
Reuell Walters: Like his good friend Sousa on the left side, Walters played the hybrid role on the right. Was more of a centre back which is impressive given he's traditionally a full back. Also only 17. The future looks bright for Arsenal! 7.
Matt Smith: The name among these Arsenal youngsters who is probably the best known to Arsenal fans. Drifted into a wide right position at times and showed his experience. Not as good as we know he can be on the ball though. 6.
Myles Lewis-Skelley: Only 16-years-old, came on and was bossing his teammates around like a senior pro. Didn't look overawed by the situation and showed some nice moments to dribble away from Lyon pressure. 7.
Catalin Cirijan: After years out injured this game time with the first team is a real heartwarming moment for the midfielder. Looked decent after coming on and was unlucky not to score. Will probably regret his panenka attempt though. 6.
Amario Cozier-Duberry: Swapped wings around after being a decent threat on the left. Slightly more effective on the right, but Arsenal's focus was more on defending by the time he came on. 6.
Ethan Nwaneri: Still only 15, but Arsenal's record breaking youngster looked good after coming on, even if only in flashes. One shot showed his confidence in possession. 7.
Nathan Butler-Oyedeji: One really good chance at the back post with a header where he probably should have done better. Unlucky not to end his first team debut with a goal despite limited chances. 7.
